Dr. Katherine Timmins-Vollmers joined Renal Specialists of Houston in 1997 after completing a research and clinical fellowship in Nephrology at Baylor College of Medicine. She holds multiple leadership roles at CHI Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, serving as UNOS Program Director of Kidney Transplantation, Nephrology Section Chief, and Medical Director of Dialysis. She is also a critical member of the task force for prevention acute kidney injury in patients with heart-assisted devices. Recognized for her excellence in patient care and education, Dr. Timmins has been recognized as a “Texas Super Doctor” for eleven consecutive years. She is Medical Director at Fresenius Kidney Care East Central Dialysis.
