    Project: “Risk factors associated with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS)
    recurrence in renal transplant patients”
    I conducted a retrospective chart review on renal transplant recipients with recurrent FSGS to determine characteristics associated with recurrence. By recognizing those at increased risk for allograft failure, proper screening measures and treatment methods can be initiated to prevent allograft loss.

    I conducted a cross-sectional analysis on 24 lung transplant recipients to determine the effect of advanced lung disease and lung transplantation on testosterone and vitamin D levels in order to guide future management and treatment. I also gained clinical experience by working with these patients before and after lung transplantation.
