Henry Muniz, MD, FACP

Dr. Henry Muniz joined Renal Specialists of Houston in 1985 after completing a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Utah. He moved from Salt Lake City to Clear Lake City, where he has lived and served in the medical community for many years. He has held the position of Chief of Staff at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Hospital (formerly Clear Lake Regional Medical Center) and has chaired multiple committees. He now sits on the board while also directing the hospital’s busy acute dialysis program. Speaking fluent Spanish, Dr. Muniz is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and is medical director of Fresenius Kidney Care Clear Lake Dialysis Center.
